VIDEO - London to Beijing 13,000 mile motorcycle ride - Teasers below

A filmmaker from Ely has recently returned home from recording a mammoth motorcycle expedition.

Cambridge Filmworks duo Adam Giles, from Ely, and Richard Millen, from Hemingford Grey, have produced a six-part television series that documents a 13,000 mile motorcycle expedition from London to Beijing.

The gruelling challenge was completed by 11 riders and is believed to have been the most extreme motorcycle expedition ever carried out.

Head cameraman Adam, of Wissey Way, said: “This unique adventure took the group into some of the most arduous and stunning terrains on the planet - riding over the world’s highest navigable passes where sudden altitude sickness can kill, through snowed-in avalanche prone mountains ranges, landslide-stricken dirt highways, across deadly swollen rivers and through some of Asia’s most dramatic cities.”
